The Future of Southeast Denver

SEBP and its partners are always looking for ways to invigorate the Southeast Corridor and our latest venture, undertaken with the support of the South I-25 Transportation Management Association, will take South Denver to the next level.  The City of Greenwood Village, RTD and Shea Homes just finalized plans for one of Colorado’s most ambitious Transit Oriented Developments: The Greenwood Village Center at Arapahoe Station will incorporate dining, shopping, art and entertainment into a one-stop urban destination scheduled for inauguration in 2010.

Other major T.O.D.s are being planned or are already underway at the light-rail stations at Orchard, Dry Creek, Lincoln and RidgeGate, bringing the residents of South Metro Denver multiple opportunities for family friendly entertainment. Along with the Landmark development at Belleview and I-25, Arapahoe Station and these other important projects are helping turn the Southern stretch of I-25 from a lonely strip of highway into one of Colorado’s premiere mixed-use developments and a model for TOD’s across the country.
